    Spectrum provides a wide array of in-prison programming on a statewide basis for the Massachusetts Department of Correction, including residential and nonresidential addiction treatment, family services, reentry and employment readiness workshops, reintegration services and post-release tracking.

    Spectrum operates 14 therapeutic community programs serving 2,766 male and female offenders at 12 state facilities across the state, including two integrated treatment programs for offenders with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.  In addition, provides aftercare services in 41 community-based locations to offenders on probation or parole and statewide counseling services in 51 community correction sites.

    Spectrum operates the largest in-prison therapeutic community program in the country, serving 1,060 male offenders at the Indian Creek Correctional Center.  Specialized units have been developed to  address the needs of youthful offenders, military veterans and offenders requiring higher intensity treatment. 

    Spectrum also operates a transitional program for female offenders at the Deerfield Women’s Work Center. This program is designed to assist and prepare women for work and successful reintegration following release.
